What’s Coming Up?

We really do have a wonderful community which not only values excellent learning opportunities but also values our community spirit and connecting with others. We are pleased to let you know about a number of events that are coming up, that create connections within our community. We do hope you are able to join us at some.

Story Time Fun – Monday 27 May, 8.40 – 9.15am
Storytime Fun is held in the Library and is for Pre-Kindy children and their parent/carer. It is held on the last Monday of the month. This month the children will be learning about ‘bees’. Click here for further information.

Grandparents Day – Tuesday 4 June
This year Grandparents’ Day will be held on Tuesday 4 June. Families are asked to register online here, the names of those Grandparents who are able to attend. This will assist us with catering. Parking around the Primary campus is limited and families are asked to wait until after 8.40am, when all children should be settled in their classes and the morning rush has ended, before delivering grandparents to the campus.

STEM Event – Friday 7 June
Students in Year Three to Seven and their families are invited to the next STEM Event.  Please click here for further information.

Kindergarten Storytelling Day – Wednesday 12 June, 9.00am – 10.15am
Families from different cultures will be sharing their favourite stories with the Kindergarten children.  Please click here for further information. 

Let’s Chat Puberty
Let’s Chat Girls, Tuesday 11 June – for Year Five to Six girls only and an accompanying female adult. This session will focus specifically on changes to the female body during puberty.

Let’s Chat Changing Bodies, Wednesday 12 June – for boys and girls in Years Four to Six and an accompanying adult. The topics covered in this session include: Names and functions of reproductive body parts; Physical, social and emotional changes of puberty and; Keeping my body healthy and safe.

Play Date – Saturday 15 June, 1.00pm to 3.00pm in the Primary Meadow
This event, organised by our fabulous Parents and Friends Association is for all families with children in Years One to Four. Families are invited to come along for an informal social gathering – an opportunity to meet other families, have a laugh, make new friends, and be a part of the College Community whilst the children enjoy a play.  Please click here for further information.
