We have had a busy and exciting start to Term Four in the Performing Arts and we thank all of our students and families for their support.

On Thursday 10 October we had our PACE Studio Concert to allow our AMEB students to perform to an audience as practice for their upcoming exams. Congratulations to all who performed. We wish you all the best for your upcoming exams.

The dates for AMEB have been confirmed and the following exams will be held in the Performing Arts Centre at the Secondary Campus.

Violin/Viola: Wednesday 6 November
Clarinet/Saxophone: Monday 18 November
Flute: Tuesday 19 November
Vocal: Wednesday 20 November

Students are reminded to keep practising regularly to ensure they feel confident with their technical work and pieces leading into the exam. Instrumental music teachers will be in contact to arrange further rehearsals for students with piano accompanists and inform you about transportation between campuses.

On Tuesday 15 October our String Quartet provided background music for the College Creations which was a beautiful accompaniment to the lovely artworks.

On Friday 18 October we celebrated all things Performing Arts at our Primary and Middle School PACE Showcase. This fabulous evening of Dance, Music and dramatic poetry showcased our talented students and their directors of all ensembles and troupes. A huge thank you to all who came to watch and all the participants.

On Friday 25 October we had our Senior PACE Showcase where our Performing Arts ensembles and dance troupe performed to rave reviews. Thanks for all who prepared and supported our performers. Well done to all of the wonderful acts! It was great to see such polish and variety throughout both of our Showcases.
