Information for Families

I have often thought that being a parent is the most rewarding and yet most difficult job I have ever had. No two children are the same and there are so many outside influences, including technology that can have an impact on our ability to parent effectively. Often we can use the advice of another parent or friend in deciding how to tackle certain parenting issues. I have found the Triple P Parenting Course a very effective tool in helping to develop good parenting skills and providing support when parenting decisions are tricky. The great news is that the Queensland Government is offering the Triple P Parenting Course to carers and parents free of charge. Click the link below to access information about this excellent opportunity.

The course can be completed online or face to face. Any parents wishing to participate in this program with other like-minded parents from St John’s please contact Mrs Pam Boardman on .
