Ponytail Project Fundraiser

The Ponytail Project will be held at the Secondary Campus on Friday 11 October at lunchtime. This year 20 girls have signed up to chop their ponytails off to raise money and donate their hair to a very worthwhile cause. Hair loss can be a side effect experienced when going through cancer treatment. For some cancer patients, this can be emotionally distressing and difficult for them to deal with. Thanks to services like Cancer Council Queensland’s ESA Wig and Turban Service, there is support available to all cancer patients across Queensland, free of charge, to help them feel confident again. By raising funds through Ponytail Project, you are helping to ensure that Queenslanders are not alone when they need support.

The event will be held on Friday 11 October, at 1.20pm in the Performing Arts Centre of Excellence. Parents and friends are welcome to come along to the College to watch their child contribute to this worthwhile cause. Please remember to sign-in at Reception before heading to the Performing Arts Centre.

Year 12 Blazer Embroidery

We will be collecting blazers from the Year 12 students that wish to have their embroidery finalised over the September/October holidays.  Any Year 12 student that would like their pockets updated can drop their blazer off at the uniform shop on Friday 20 September.
