Clubs and Activities
We have a wonderful program of extra-curricular activities next term and I encourage students to get involved.
Movement and Mindfulness Club will be offered to students in Years Three to Six next semester. This Club has previously been offered to the Early Years children on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and will continue to be open to the younger members of our school community. However, Thursday will be the only day that Early Years children can attend.
The Tuesday session is being made available for students in Years Three to Six and any families wishing to have their children participate in this program should complete the permission form available here. Movement and Mindfulness focuses on exercises and breathing and is a great way for children to learn how to be still and reflective.
Children in the Early Years who have already been involved in this program do not need to submit another permission form.
Dance Club operates on the following days:
Mondays 3.00 – 4.00pm for Year Two students
Wednesdays 3.00- 4.15pm for Years Three to Six
Thursdays 3.00 – 4.00pm for Year One students
Interested students who were involved in other activities last term can join a Dance Club from the commencement of Term Three.
STEM Club is very popular and students have been invited to attend on a termly basis to allow as many students as possible to participate throughout the year. There are some vacancies available next term for the after-school club held on Thursday afternoons from 3.15 to 4.40pm. STEM Club is organised by Mrs Laurie Wilson and Mrs McConaghy and is open to students in Years Three to Six. Families wishing to enrol their child in STEM Club this term should complete the permission slip by clicking here. Due to the activities conducted in STEM Club, numbers of students attending need to be limited. Preference will be given to those children who have not already been involved in STEM Club this year.
